Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - University of Virginia and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - University of Virginia.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Level IV NICU experience required. Must be competent in the use of both the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Cardiac PICU experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: Any hit on your license must be disclosed. Hits will be sent to UVA leadership for approval prior to proceeding.

Special Requests: Travelers are not eligible to return after reaching 365 total assignment days, regardless of time away.

Unit Details: Children’s Hospital setting with a pediatric emergency department, a Level IV NICU, and a PICU caring for children younger than 18. Complex congenital heart program caring for patients with congenital cardiac defects, including transplants and ECMO. Neonate, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population. Cares for patients in the NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend and every other holiday. Self-scheduling model; desired schedule is not guaranteed but accommodations will be considered.

Floating Requirements: Required to work in all units of the Children’s Hospital.

3 days maximum time off
