Job Description & Requirements Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Canton, Ohio. Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Summary Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a ER RN to take an assignment in Canton, Ohio. This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on August 28, 2026. We often have multiple openings in the same market. Job Details Shift: 12H Nights Total Weekly Hours: 36 Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Trauma Level: Level 2 Facility Specific Job Notes: Required Experience and Qualifications Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department (ED) experience. 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for is required (preferred to be within one location but not mandatory). Must have permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission. Must possess Epic experience. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Certifications AHA or American Red Cross ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) are required in hand at the time of submission. Nihss (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification is also required. References One recent reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Co-worker references are not accepted. Assessments ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Traveler will receive a maximum of two attempts to pass. Additional Requirements COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with medical/religious exemptions only. Travelers must be nicotine‑free, excluding nurses and CSTs, who are temporarily exempt. Background checks (BG hits) of any kind are reviewed by the facility, but no traveler with an open case will be accepted. Licensing must not have any hits; facility does not accept any license hits.
