Senior Production Manager

Purpose Statement Manages a discreet business unit through Production Team Leaders and Support Teams. Primary job functions include: developing capacity plans; managing financial budgets and setting aggressive department goals that support BSC’s current and future objectives; partnering with Logistics, Engineering, Quality, HR and Finance to optimize business performance; supporting process development endeavours; ensuring and championing department adherence to Quality regulatory and GMP requirements. This position is responsible for directing and coordinating all the manufacturing operations for the area of responsibility. Commit to providing development and growth opportunities for department personnel, fostering and recognizing continuous improvement initiatives within the department. Develop, train and plan the manpower required to support the sales forecast and ensure compliance with G.M.P.’s. Plans and allocates resources to ensure optimisation of customer service targets, inventory levels, procurement delivery and costs. Promotes quality and customer satisfaction as a way of life in all department activities. Use the tools and resources available to meet customer production needs based upon sales forecast. Brings together functional resources to meet production objectives. Develops, manages and monitors department budgets. Establish and set the priorities for production schedules. Responsible for coordinating the introduction of new products with Engineering, Quality Assurance and Logistics. Achieve budgeted targets with respect to product quality, departmental spending, labour efficiency and production yields. Manage the operation of the business unit to ensure compliance with established S.O.P’s and G.M.P guidelines. Job Requirements We are seeking for an experienced and strategic leader with a strong background in manufacturing operations within a multinational environment. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical discipline, or Business Administration. Minimum 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. At least 10 years in a leadership role, preferably within a multinational corporation (MNC). Experience in the medical device industry is highly preferred. Proven ability to lead, influence, and manage large teams in a complex, fast-paced environment. Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration, working effectively with stakeholders across operations, quality, engineering, and supply chain.
