Preferred Qualifications:

• EFDA experience preferred, but happy to train the right candidate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Open Dental experience preferred, but willing to train.
• Proficiency in dental terminology, restorative procedures, and clinical workflows.

Essential Functions:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Perform expanded functions including placing/finishing restorations, coronal polishing, and sealant placement.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and organize clinical equipment for patient visits.
• Provide attentive chairside assistance and proactive support to the clinical team.
• Expose and process high-quality digital dental radiographs.
• Maintain accurate patient records, clinical charts, and treatment documentation.
• Ensure strict compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.

Licenses & Certifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• Indiana Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification (Required).
• Indiana Dental Radiography License (Required).
• CPR/BLS Certification (Required).
