Dental Assistant

Employee Type Non-Exempt Required Degree High school Description We are currently looking to hire a full-time energetic and dedicated Dental Assistant to our awesome team! In this position, you will work with a fun and exceptional group of oral and maxillofacial surgeons and staff. The ideal candidate must have outstanding communication skills, a positive attitude, be a team player, and have a great work ethic. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment but still keep attention to detail. Y ou must be able to travel to our other offices in Fort Wayne and Warsaw as needed. Essential Job Responsibilities: Assist the surgeon during a variety of surgical procedures Set up and tear down operations Take digital dental radiographs Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment Provide patients with post op instructions following procedures Perform other various office tasks as necessary Travel to our other offices in Fort Wayne and Warsaw as needed Requirements Education/Skills/Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED (required) Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program (preferred) Certified Dental Assistant (preferred) Non-Expired Indiana Dental Radiographer License (required) CPR Certification (preferred) Basic computer skills (required) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (required) Summary Our Mission Our mission is to provide nothing less than outstanding care so that our patients can live their best life.
