Sr. Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer (100% Remote)Our client, is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support and maintain critical network infrastructure that connects hospitals, imaging centers, datacenters, and remote clinical environments. This is a highly visible role where network reliability directly impacts patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, datacenter, firewall, and connectivity environmentsConfigure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and carrier connectionsLead network upgrades, migrations, installations, and infrastructure projectsManage and troubleshoot complex network issues through resolutionCoordinate with ISPs, vendors, and hospital IT teamsPlan and execute network changes, including testing and rollback proceduresIdentify network risks and recommend infrastructure improvementsServe as an escalation point for network-related issuesParticipate in occasional after-hours support for critical incidentsMaintain documentation, standards, and change management processesMentor team members and assist with troubleshooting documentationRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of hands-on Network Engineering experienceStrong experience with:Palo Alto FirewallsPrismaAruba Switching & Aruba CentralSD-WANFirewall policies and security administrationAdvanced knowledge of:TCP/IP, DNS, DHCPVLANs, Routing & SwitchingNAT, VPNsNetwork troubleshooting and performance analysisExperience with dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGPStrong communication and documentation skillsValid driver's licensePreferred QualificationsSonicWall experienceCarrier/WAN expertiseHigh-availability datacenter networkingHealthcare IT experienceCertifications such as CCNP, Palo Alto, or ArubaMonitoring tools (LogicMonitor or similar)VoIP, PBX, and 3CX experienceJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
