DESCRIPTION

Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse in the assigned department, the nurse performs a wide variety of patient care activities to support clinic activity. Duties include prioritizing and assisting in patient triage processing; preparing and assisting with patient examinations; administering medications; drawing blood; collecting and preparing laboratory tests; and providing patient education. The position requires initiative, the ability to prioritize critical demands, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) issued by the state of California. Minimum of two years LVN experience for a Sr. level position. BART or BLS certification at time of hire, with a commitment to obtain BART within six (6) months of hire date. Recent experience in a similar role and setting.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Family Practice experience. OB / Women's Health experience. Pediatrics experience. Procedures & instrument sterilization preparation process experience. Experience with point‑of‑care testing. Medication / vaccine administration experience.SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Must be able to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on‑call, and some overtime as required to meet unexpected staffing needs. Must be able to work at various locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical.PAY TOOLS
Pay Transparency Act: Annual Full Pay Range: $74,980 - $93,229 (prorated if appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $35.91 - $44.65EEO STATEMENT
