Bread Baker (Overnight) – Scratch Bakery Cafe | $20–$25/hr + $500 Sign-On BonusLaguna Hills, CALove crafting bread by hand? Scratch Bakery Cafe is a family-owned bakery in Laguna Hills, and we're looking for a dedicated Bread Baker to join our overnight team. You'll mix, shape, and bake our sourdough, marbled rye, baguettes, Manna Buns, and focaccia using traditional techniques, natural leavens, and high-quality ingredients.WHY YOU'LL LIKE IT HERE- $20–$25/hr, based on experience, with higher pay for overnight shifts- $500 sign-on bonus after your 90-day introductory period- 50% off meals- Paid training- Benefits after the introductory period, including a defined benefit retirement plan- Flexible scheduling- Creative input: help develop new bread varieties- Real growth: we promote from within as we open new locationsWHAT YOU'LL DO- Mix, shape, and bake breads using both sourdough starters and commercial yeast- Follow established recipes and production schedules- Monitor ovens and adjust baking processes for consistent results- Collaborate with the team on new bread varieties- Keep your work area clean and organizedWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR- 1+ year of baking experience preferred, but we'll train the right person- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality- Available for overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed- Able to lift and carry 50 lb bags of flour and ingredientsSCHEDULEFull -time and part-time positions available.
