We're hiring an Assistant Flexo Press Operator to join a production team responsible for creating high-quality printed packaging materials.

This is a great opportunity for someone with flexographic printing or press operation experience who enjoys working with equipment, solving problems, and being part of a fast-paced production environment.

What You Can Expect

• $20.00+/hr , depending on experience
• 12-hour overnight shifts: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
• 2/2/3 rotating schedule with built-in days off
• Hands-on work with industrial printing equipment

What You'll Do

You'll help operate a large-scale flexographic printing press used to print designs, colors, and other information onto packaging materials.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist with setting up and operating the flexographic press.
• Load and position rolls of raw materials.
• Monitor the printing process and make adjustments as needed.
• Check printed samples for color, quality, alignment, and registration .
• Adjust printing plates, pressure rolls, and other machine settings.
• Review job orders and production specifications.
• Help load raw materials and unload finished rolls.
• Work with the production team to reduce waste.
• Complete jobs within scheduled production times.
• Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

What We're Looking For

• Previous wide-web flexographic printing experience
• Experience operating or assisting with a printing press
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• Ability to understand color charts and inspect printed samples
• Knowledge of color laydown and overprint
• Ability to read and understand job dockets
• Strong attention to detail
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong time-management skills

Experience with Uteco, W&H, Bobst, PCMC, or F&K presses is a plus.

About the Schedule

The schedule is a 2/2/3 rotation , working 6 PM–6 AM .

You'll work 2 days, have 2 days off, then work 3 days , with the rotation changing the following week. This gives you several days off throughout the schedule while maintaining a full-time 12-hour shift.
