Job Details Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion – Aurora, CO Department: Respiratory Care Main Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $31.61 – $47.41 / hour (dependent on relevant experience) Onsite only, no hybrid or remote option. As you gain experience and expertise, you will have the opportunity to move through different levels of this career ladder. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). NRP obtained within 1 year if assigned to NICU; tracked on unit. PALS within 1 year if assigned to ED; tracked on unit. Advanced Cardiac Life Support. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid through sixty days of hire. Responsibilities Provide top‑of‑scope respiratory therapy in a direct patient care environment, utilizing protocols and best practices to promote optimized care. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional care outcomes. Prioritize patient wellness, perspective, and evidence‑based practice. Precept new staff and peers in respiratory therapy skills. Manage ventilator integration, adaptive pulmonary support, and airway management across multiple care levels. Participate in clinical and process improvement projects at the unit, division, regional, or system level.
