Seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Step-Down Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Step-Down patients
Monitor telemetry, assess patient conditions, and respond to clinical changes
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Requirements:

Minimum 1–2 years of Step-Down and/or Telemetry experience
Active New York RN License
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Experience with Paragon EMR and Pyxis medication system preferred

Assignment Details:

13-week assignment
12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Adult/Geriatric patient population
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 6:1
ASAP start available
Local and travel candidates accepted
