The Hygienist-in-Training Program allows upcoming grads and/or newly graduated hygienists who are awaiting their licensing to be hired into an office to complete initial training, onboarding, get familiar with the office & shadow and experienced hygienist - all while getting paid!

Once your license is active, you can then start practicing dental hygiene on patients with comfort and confidence from being familiar with their surroundings, team & fellow hygienists!

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
