Job Title: IT PMO Coordinator Location: New York, New York (Hybrid, Need only locals with DL Copy) Duration: 12 months contract with potential for extension Interview Mode: Video and potential for in-person Must have Investment Banking or Fintech client experience 5+ years experience 2 aspects of this job 1st part: New Solutions and New Users (NSU) Secretary The new solution new user clear applications and services with compliance legal risk and security before they install anything in the bank IT security and risk has to approve what is going to be installs or subscribed to This is heavy coordination with project manager and all the support function to review the file and answer all the questions before to proceed This person will have to understand what to fill in and prepare the pm with the prerequisites. The file or checklist for example: IT security, do we have all the pen test, do we know what data is being changed, functional of the data, where is the data hosted. Not looking for 20 years person it's a coordinator role they are going to be bored. This person will need to contact the project manager; make sure details are answered. This person will be sitting in the meetings with Risk and IT security and move this along the process. This person should understand banking environment, understanding compliance can be useful and can anticipate all the questions that would come up Anyone who is monitoring application being implemented in the bank is good. They will be accustomed to be dealing with that type of topic like ex Hosting of data. Classification of data The person can come from a pmo office. Person will be report to Head of PMO for IT and working also for the compliance department. The compliance department is considered the chairman on this. 2nd part to support AI innovation manager The other part will be to help the AI innovation manager. The innovation manager is working on a GenAI tool making sure this tool is being implemented in Americas and Canada region. They are training all the 1500 people. They have a Method(advance prompting) to teach people They hold a workshop to identify use cases. There are In session workshop with users. They ask the user: What are your pain points for legal department. How can GenAI help you. Then they will teach the user how to incorporate genai. They don't need a specialist in AI. Just organizing workshop and making sure people are attending the sessions. Job description The New Solutions and New Users (NSU) function plays a vital role in ensuring that innovative technologies and digital solutions are implemented safely and compliantly across the organization. Serves as the central coordination that brings together the support functions to evaluate and approve new tools, technologies, and processes involving data processing Supporting the Innovation manager with Help coordination the various initiatives of the innovation approach Participate to the innovation watch, including the FinTech watch Encourage use case generation via the facilitation of workshops Participate to the orchestration of the local innovations communities Implementation of innovation projects: Coordinate the implementation of innovation projects, resulting from the innovation approach. For example: AI Artifical Intelligence: coordination between local end users and Head Office teams to implement AI use cases for the Americas Additional task could be as followed Preparing periodic communication (newsletters, ad-hoc communication on events, i.e. talks) for the Bank on innovation Event organization: annual innovation / Digitization event Ensure adherence to the System Project Life Cycle (SPLC) and Global GIT project management methodology and produce or assist in the production of key deliverables defined by the SPLC.
