Research Assistant

Position Purpose Principal duties include, but are not limited to, contributing, under supervision and direction of a faculty member, principal investigator, or other designated individual, to a research program, including but not limited to experimental design, ongoing review of relevant literature, the gathering and analysis of data, presentation of results at internal and external meetings and conferences, and the contribution to development of results in scholarly articles and research reports. This position will also involve attending the clinic to support patient participants’ recruitment, assessments, and intervention setup. The Research Assistant assignment is made with the understanding that the overall work experience will contribute to the professional training of the Employee. Responsibilities In clinic and virtual patient recruitment, assessment and intervention delivery Management of patient recruitment activities, including database management (i.e., REDCap) Coordinating team meetings and agenda setting Conducting quantitative data analysis Conducting qualitative research analysis Research results synthesis Scientific articles writing support Working with researchers at Dartmouth and other institutions to collaborate on research projects Assisting with other aspects of research projects as needed and relevant Percentage of Time 100 Performance Expectations Demonstrates professionalism and collegiality through actions, interactions, and communications with others appropriate to an environment that is welcoming to all.
