Certified Nurse Aide - CNA

What you will do as a Hospice Certified Nurse Aide: Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families Assist with bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, feeding, and mobility Monitor patient comfort and report changes in condition to the primary nurse Support safe patient transfers and mobility assistance Assist with changing linens, maintaining patient living spaces, and organizing supplies Set up and maintain medical equipment including hospital beds and wheelchairs Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotations as needed What we are looking for: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Aide program with current Virginia CNA licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred (home health, hospice, or long-term care experience preferred) Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Compassionate, patient-centered, and emotionally resilient Comfort working independently in home and facility settings Experience with electronic medical records preferred Valid Virginia driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record Schedule & Compensation: Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm with rotating weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities Location: Serving patients throughout the Good Samaritan Hospice NRV service area including homes, facilities, and hospitals Benefits: 21 days PTO in your first year, mileage reimbursement at $.65/mile, company-paid life and long-term disability insurance, medical coverage through an ICHRA model with multiple plan options, and 401(k) with company match (100% on first 3%, 50% on next 1%) Hourly Rate: Starting at $18/hour Find your purpose here If you are compassionate, dependable, and looking for work that truly matters, we would love to hear from you.
