Senior Cost Analyst

Summary Senior Cost Analyst supporting US Manufacturing to ensure inventory and cost accounting processes are accurate, complete, and timely across a complex operating environment. The role leverages data analytics and reporting tools to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions. The incumbent will work independently and collaboratively with operations and corporate controlling teams to improve processes, controls, and financial outcomes. Responsibilities Prepare and implement elements of the inventory control environment to guarantee accurate and timely cost accounting for US manufacturing and product development sites. Ensure consistency across entities and coordinate with the corporate controlling team to maintain compliance with group policies. Monitor internal control results, report risk profiles to leadership, and recommend tactics to safeguard inventory assets. Support implementation and updates of inventory cost absorption rates for work centers and precious metal types to optimize production cost absorption. Monitor aged work orders, collaborate with operations to resolve issues, and support inventory reduction and obsolescence mitigation initiatives. Requirements 5-8 years of experience in financial data analysis or cost accounting. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience. Experience with ERP systems such as JDE or SAP. Proficiency with Power BI and familiarity with Dataiku, Alteryx, and advanced Excel. Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; project management experience is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
