The incumbent will provide expert guidance, analytical support, and policy development for complex real estate actions, including military property transfers, prospectus-level leases, and real property development projects. Additionally, they will work directly with the Division Chief and Office Director to support both immediate and long-range space planning requirements, ensuring alignment with Department mission needs and federal real property regulations.The incumbent will prepare high-value technical documentation including prospectuses, use permits, licenses, scopes of work, housing plans, briefings, and assignment memoranda. Additionally, they will serve as a principal liaison with GSA, military entities, state and local agencies, and private-sector partners.## Day to Day Responsibilities May Include:* Develop and evaluate new or revised policies, methods, procedures, criteria, and guidance for real estate actions.* Assist in the planning, direction, implementation, and administration of projects involving acquisition, termination, construction, renovation, repair, and management of real property.* Serve as principal liaison with GSA, military branches, state/local governments, and private-sector partners.* Research, analyze, and evaluate interrelated project activities, programs, and management practices to monitor project performance.* Prepare rent estimates and maintain leasing documentation within the Department’s system of record, Archibus.* Develop housing plans, point papers, options analyses, and briefing materials reflecting all relevant considerations.* Develop standards and guidance to improve lease procurement practices and methodologies.* Advise stakeholders and senior leadership on complex real estate issues, including policy interpretation and strategic planning.**What You Will Need:*** Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.* Bachelor’s Degree* EIGHT (8) years of experience working in or with the General Services Administration (GSA)* Experience using GSA systems including Rent on Web, OAsis, and eRETA**What Would Be Nice To Have:*** An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance* Experience supporting or working with the Department of State’s domestic real estate portfolioThe annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.
