Assistant Director, Physician Assistant Program

Pennsylvania College of Technology is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to serve as Assistant Director of our Physician Assistant Program. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with faculty, support program excellence, and help maintain a high-quality, ARC-PA accredited program that prepares students for successful careers in healthcare. Position Overview The Assistant Director will work closely with the Director of Physician Assistant Studies to ensure ongoing compliance with Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) standards while supporting the overall administration of the program. Primary responsibilities include: Coordinating data collection, analysis, and reporting to support ARC-PA accreditation. Assisting with the implementation and evaluation of accreditation action plans. Maintaining accreditation and program documentation. Supporting operational processes that promote program quality, continuous improvement, and student success. Minimum education and experience: Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's Degree (or higher) or a master’s degree in progress with a plan for completion within one year of hire. Current NCCPA Certification without restrictions. Current Physician Assistant licenses to practice in Pennsylvania. Minimum of three years in a practice as a PA. Minimum abilities and skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with students, staff, faculty, health care professionals, and the public. Developed organizational skills. Sensitivity to the expectations of students, staff, faculty, health care professionals, and the public. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to establish positive rapport with health care industries and professionals. Valid driver’s license. Self-motivation, creativity, enthusiasm, and leadership. Functional ability with microcomputers with mainframe applications.
