Gynecologic Oncologist - Assistant or Associate Professor

The Department of Gynecologic Oncology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gynecologic Oncologist to join our faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Roswell Park is the nation's first cancer center and an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Our department is a high-volume, research-intensive gynecologic oncology program with a strong clinical trials portfolio and an expanding translational research footprint. Rather than operating within a traditional departmental silo, our faculty work across an integrated cancer-center ecosystem, with direct access to clinical trials infrastructure, genomics and biostatistics shared resources, biospecimen platforms, and collaborative research programs across the institution.

What You'll Do The successful candidate will:

• Provide comprehensive surgical and oncologic care across the full range of gynecologic malignancies, including ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar, and rare gynecologic cancers
• Perform advanced open, minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures
• Develop and maintain an active clinical practice within the department
• Enroll and manage patients on clinical trials and cooperative group studies
• Lead or contribute to clinical, translational, population-based, or health services research
• Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and students within our ACGME-accredited three-year Gynecologic Oncology fellowship program
• Contribute to the academic, clinical, and strategic growth of the department

What You'll Bring Required qualifications:

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency and Gynecologic Oncology fellowship
• Board certification or board eligibility in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York State

Preferred qualifications:

• Academic accomplishments appropriate for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level
• Interest or experience in clinical trials, translational research, population science, surgical innovation, cancer disparities, survivorship, or related areas
• Evidence of scholarly activity, including publications, presentations, grant development, or other academic contributions
• Commitment to trainee mentorship, multidisciplinary care, and collaborative academic practice
