LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an organization in The Woodlands, TX to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a temp-to-hire basis. This role supports high-volume, full-cycle recruiting within the power generation industry and is ideal for a seasoned recruiter seeking stability, long-term potential, and eventual permanent conversion.

This position is 100% onsite and intended to convert to permanent for the right long-term fit.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $36.00 – $43.25/hour
• Bonus (Upon Conversion): Annual incentive paid in April based on individual and company performance

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage full-cycle recruiting for mid- to senior-level roles, supporting both blue-collar and white-collar hiring needs. This individual will work closely with hiring managers and HR leadership, delivering a relationship-focused recruiting experience with the goal of long-term team integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions (approximately 40 requisitions at a time)
• Create and manage requisitions; define job requirements, screening questions, and interview strategies
• Source, screen, and interview candidates across technical and corporate roles
• Coordinate interviews, extend offers, and manage pre-employment screenings (drug testing and background checks)
• Serve as the primary liaison between hiring managers and candidates
• Maintain accurate candidate records and hiring stages within the ATS
• Support recruiting metrics and departmental goals
• Participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and proactive sourcing initiatives
• Collaborate with the TA Manager on hiring strategies and workforce planning
• Build and maintain external talent pipelines

Required Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (Senior / Level 3 preferred)
• Required industry experience:
• POWER GENERATION
• Recruiting experience across blue-collar and white-collar roles, including engineering and field service positions
• Demonstrated success managing high-volume recruiting in fast-paced environments
• Strong stakeholder partnership and relationship-building skills
• ATS/HRIS experience required
• Paycom experience highly preferred
• Experience with Paycor, Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now, or similar systems acceptable
• Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
