Material Planner

We are helping our client, a growing manufacturing company in the Green Bay, WI area, find a direct hire Material Planner. This is a highly visible role responsible for leading production planning activities, optimizing schedules, managing inventory strategies, and driving cross-functional collaboration to ensure exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and on-time delivery performance. Position Highlights Title: Manufacturing Operations Planner Reports to the Supply Chain Director Lead planning activities across multiple production assets High-impact position with exposure to Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Executive Leadership Opportunity to influence continuous improvement initiatives and operational performance MUST be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship 3-5+ years of production planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment Experience creating and managing production schedules to support customer demand and operational efficiency Strong inventory management and forecasting experience ERP/MRP system experience required; NetSuite experience is a plus Advanced Microsoft Excel skill Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives preferred Responsibilities Lead production planning and scheduling activities across multiple manufacturing assets Develop and maintain efficient production schedules that balance customer demand, inventory levels, and operational capacity Monitor sales orders, inventory levels, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory Communicate schedule changes and production priorities to operations and customer-facing teams Optimize production sequencing to maximize equipment utilization and minimize downtime Support inventory strategies that achieve service level and cost objectives Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Operations, and Leadership teams to resolve planning challenges Support ERP system enhancements, new product launches, and customer initiatives Track key planning metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement Drive continuous improvement efforts related to planning, logistics, and distribution processes What is Being Offered Annual bonus opportunity Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Vacation and Holiday Career growth opportunities within a stable and growing organization Collaborative team environment Opportunity to make a significant impact on operational performance and customer satisfaction Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing planning experience within a process manufacturing environment Experience managing inventory strategies and production workflow Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, and distribution operations Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects APICS/ASCM certification is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
