Opportunity:

RN - Supervisor

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 6-week scheduling cycle with every other weekend rotation required
• Every other major holiday coverage expected
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2 years of RN Medical/Surgical experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Patient ratio averages up to 6 patients per nurse depending on staffing
• Care for all Medical/Surgical patient types
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• ACLS certification preferred
• Must be proficient with general Med/Surg skills including traches, chest tubes, cardiac rhythm strip interpretation, Lasix drips, insulin drips, heparin drips, and wound vacs
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Work with Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• May float to any Medical/Surgical unit as assigned by House Supervisor
• One shift orientation provided
• Scrub requirements: any solid color with no logos
• Free parking available
• Up to 7 days of requested time off approved if willing to extend contract

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center serving as a Level IV Trauma Center with 277 hospital beds. The facility features a Level III NICU and serves as a Primary Stroke Center, providing specialized emergency and critical care services. The medical center offers extensive support services including CNA/Tech support, HUC, rapid response teams, phlebotomy services, charge nurses, and centralized telemetry monitoring with dedicated telemetry technicians.
