Facilities Maintenance Technician

Facilities Maintenance TechnicianFacilities Maintenance Technicians support and maintain the facility/infrastructure systems by ensuring they remain in optimal working condition with safety and quality standards being a top priority. They must possess a technical mindset and demonstrate strong mechanical capabilities, while being flexible and adaptable as they will be required to rotate job assignments throughout various areas in and outside of the bakery. Facility Maintenance Technicians must have the aptitude and drive to seek and acquire on-going training due to ever evolving technological improvements and performance standards.Rising to the Challenge: Position ResponsibilitiesMaintain and troubleshoot all facility/infrastructure systems, including but not limited to boilers, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (as applicable), and facility process cooling systemsPerform minor facility repairs and general maintenance for insulation, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and overall building needs, including but not limited to minor carpentry work and paintingMaintain vendor relationships for general facility maintenanceOversee all building and grounds upkeep, including but not limited to sprinkler system and fire suppression systemUse SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entryPractice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programsMaintain clean and safe work environmentPractice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and proceduresPossess or attain licenses required by their respective municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipmentKnead to Know: Preferred Qualifications1+ years of experience in building maintenance or as a technician in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related fieldAdditional Ingredients: Essential Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent, Technical/Trade School certification or diploma a plusSalary Range- 34.20 - 35.40Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional overtime and occasional weekend if needed.
