Civil Engineering Project ManagerAs a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Civil Practice at the Greenville, SC office, you'll lead project teams responsible for land development and site design for a wide range of commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial projects. You'll manage tasks such as site layout, grading, stormwater management, utility design, erosion control, and permitting. Our people are our priority — and that's what drives us to dig deeper, collaborate smarter, and build lasting relationships inside and outside of our company.Key Responsibilities:Manage site development and civil engineering projects from proposal through construction, including oversight of scope, schedule, and budgetLead the design and review of site layout, grading, stormwater systems, utilities, and erosion controlPrepare and oversee technical reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applicationsPerform quality assurance/quality control reviews and ensure project deliverables meet regulatory and client requirementsCoordinate and communicate with clients, contractors, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies throughout all phases of the projectMentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff, including support for career development planning and performance reviewsCollaborate with senior leadership on business development and strategic client growth initiativesOur Greenville office is located in one of South Carolina's most desirable and fast-growing regions, known for its strong economy and high quality of life. With easy access to outdoor recreation, a welcoming community, and a growing professional network, Greenville is an exceptional place to live, work, and grow.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; Master's degree preferredProfessional Engineer (P.E.) licensureExperience managing civil or site development projects from planning through completionProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling tools; experience with HydroCAD or HEC-RAS preferredExperience developing project scopes, preparing proposals, and managing projects profitablyExperience resolving design and permitting challenges for grading, stormwater, and utility layoutsFamiliarity with local and state permitting processes and coordination with regulatory agenciesStrong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across teams and with external stakeholdersExperience mentoring junior staff and providing leadership within project teamsPreferred Capabilities:Active participation in professional or client-related organizationsDemonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary civil engineering projectsAdvanced experience with complex site development and infrastructure design projectsAbout Us:We have experts!
