Job description: *Human Resources Director* Hanover Hill Health Care Center, an award winning Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facility located in Manchester, NH is looking to welcome an experienced Human Resources Director to join our team. This is a salaried position; schedule Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm. Respect * Responsibility * Fairness * Honesty * Compassion Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Human Resources Director to lead all aspects of human resources operations for our long-term care facility. The Human Resources Director serves as a strategic partner to leadership while fostering a positive workplace culture that supports exceptional resident care. This position oversees recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, staff development, and retention initiatives. The ideal candidate is an organized, collaborative leader with a strong understanding of employment law, healthcare regulations, and the unique workforce challenges within long-term care. Position Requirements: Bachelors degree with emphasis in Human Resources preferred. Extensive experience in the HR field may be considered in lieu of Bachelors degree. Healthcare setting experience preferred Knowledge of all principles and practice of HR including employment law and compliance requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks Proven ability to effectively coach employees through difficult and complex issues Computer proficiency Ability to operate in a high paced environment while maintaining a positive supportive presence to all staff Personal integrity, commitment to excellence Duties: Performs all Human Resources activities of Hanover Hill to ensure facility standards of excellence are upheld and state and federal regulatory compliance is being met Defines and maintains facility personnel policies within the facility, ensures that all staff are aware of policies and related programs Responsible for recruitment of all staff including championing initiatives for new recruitment methods to include advertising, interviewing, references, and facilitation of new hire orientation process. Helps to develop staff through coaching and training, managing completion of performance reviews by department managers, and addressing concerns and resolving problems as they arise Assist senior management with special projects as they arise, examples including wage analysis surveys, employee recognition initiatives, job fairs, etc. Completes primary functions of employee payroll. Manage all aspects of employee benefits from consultation with facility brokers to annual renewals, employee eligibility and elections, and related compliance reports. Chair to facility Safety Committee; manages overall process of workers compensation claims from submission to carrier to return to work. Develops and manages department strategic goals and works closely with senior management for deliverables; report to Quality Assurance Benefits: Full time position, approximate hours of Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
