Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings and a strong commitment to patient advocacy and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license with current states' credentials.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and clinical skills.
• Able to float within the scope of practice to similar units as needed.
• Be willing to work flexible day shifts, including weekends.
