We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and strongly encourage you to apply.A Typical Day Will Include The Following . ..Performs all activities necessary to process weekly payrollEnsures compliance with all federal, state and local regulationsAnalyzes, prepares, troubleshoots timekeeping errors, and inputs payroll data to produce accurate and timely payrollUpdates, imports, approves and maintains payroll information such as progression rates, deductions, title/department changes, etc.Works with People Support Services to enter new hires and process separations in a timely mannerGenerates post-Payroll weekly reports for Payroll & Accounts Payable Manager review/approvalImports and posts payroll entries to the General LedgerMaintains the GL balance of payroll accountsHandles stale Payroll checks and unclaimed wagesImports union-dues-deduction file, transmits payment files and sends status changes to unionProcesses 401(k) deduction changes, enrollments, withdrawals and hardships while managing the employee relationship during this processProvides employment wage verification for Market Support employeesRecords, maintains and updates payroll proceduresCreates special reports for management as requestedProcesses employee expense reportsProcesses all garnishments, child support, and tax leviesAssists the Payroll & Accounts Payable Manager as neededMaintains department in a neat, clean, and orderly mannerProvides excellent customer serviceStays current with industry trends, standards and changesStays current with all training including online training and professional development opportunitiesSupports and follows all company and department policiesSupports and follows sustainability programsSupports and follows all safety and security policiesDemonstrates attitude of service to co-workers and guestsOperates within the Company's Core Values, Company Brand, and Business PrinciplesThis Job Might Be For You If...Prefer 3-5 years of experience in payroll or accountingCertified Payroll Professional certification preferredExperience processing union contract provisions and step progressionSolid understanding of payroll processes and regulationsExcellent customer service skillsMust have intermediate or higher computer skills including MS Office; prefer knowledge of UKG WFM, ADP Lyric, and/or GP DynamicsAbility to maintain a high-level of confidentialityMust be a team player, a leader, and a positive role modelMust be accurate and very detail-oriented with excellent math skillsHighly organized, effective, and skilled at prioritizing daily/weekly responsibilitiesAbility to work independently, as well as with a diverse group of guests, employees, and leadershipAbility to take direction and carry out department tasks and assignmentsAbility to adjust to constant interruptionsCommitment to personal and professional developmentDisplays excellent work ethicMust possess an attitude of service to othersDemonstrates self-discipline and accountabilityExcellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills (including spelling, grammar and industry language)Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededFlexibility to work additional hours as neededAbility to lift and carry 25 lbs. occasionally, and have excellent manual dexterityPossesses full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting and reaching)Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner18 years or olderEntry Level CompensationUSD $27.25/Hr.Maximum CompensationUSD $35.50/Hr.
