Receiving Material Handler SI - Perris
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Receiving Material Handler SI to work with a leading retail company in Perris. This role is responsible for unloading, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring all materials are accurately received, properly documented, and safely stored to support operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.
Shift Patterns
- Weekend shift; Saturday - Monday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pay Rates
- 18.50 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Receiving Material Handler SI
- Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and experience with scanners or WMS systems is a plus
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents and labels
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements for Receiving Material Handler SI
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.)
Role Responsibilities for Receiving Material Handler SI
- Unload incoming freight and verify shipment accuracy against documentation
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies immediately
- Process and organize inventory for efficient storage and retrieval
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with warehouse standards
Location: Perris. This position is based in a dynamic warehouse facility.
