Field Reimbursement Manager- Cleveland, Ohio

Amgen seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to support the Bone Health business unit across Cleveland, Akron, Toledo, and Fort Wayne. The role involves managing patient access and reimbursement within a defined territory, coordinating with healthcare providers and payers, and resolving coverage challenges.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient access and reimbursement for defined accounts within geographic territory
• Support physicians with prior authorization, appeals, denials, and reimbursement issue resolution
• Educate healthcare providers on payer coverage, benefit design changes, and product access requirements
• Coordinate access issues with relevant partners and serve as payer expert for assigned geography
• Conduct office education on formulary coverage, utilization management, prior authorization, and claims resolution

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or Master's plus 3 years customer service/leadership experience, or Bachelor's plus 5 years, or Associate's plus 10 years, or high school diploma plus 12 years
• Minimum 2 years public/private third-party access, managed care, clinical support, or pharmaceutical industry experience
• Strong medical reimbursement and specialty pharmacy/buy and bill knowledge
• Proven presentation, facilitation, written, and oral communication skills
• Project management experience managing multiple concurrent projects
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based meeting platforms
• Healthcare industry experience: insurance verification, claim adjudication, physician offices, pharmacies, or pharmaceutical manufacturers
