Account Specialist, Migraine - Cleveland, OH

AbbVie seeks an Account Specialist in Cleveland, Ohio to promote migraine and specialty products to community practices and health systems. The role involves developing customer relationships, identifying clinical and operational needs, and providing training to healthcare professionals across multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Promote products to meet or exceed sales goals across community practices and hospital health systems
- Identify customer needs in training, clinical, operational, and reimbursement areas and coordinate AbbVie resources
- Deliver clinical and injection training to residents, fellows, and hospital personnel with anatomical expertise
- Utilize AbbVie sales data and resources to enhance product productivity and implement marketing plans
- Collaborate with other specialists to execute resident and fellow training programs within assigned accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences, pharmacy, or business; or 5+ years technical experience with 3+ years sales experience and high school diploma
- Experience with Buy & Bill and specialty pharmacy products in health systems and private practice
- Strong sales performance history in clinical, technical, or consultative sales with complex decision-makers
- Ability to learn and communicate procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information quickly
- Valid driver's license, ability to pass drug screening, and safe driving record
- Capacity to lift/pull 25–100 lb training models and meet hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements
- HCIR credentialing eligibility including background checks, immunization proof, and state/local license compliance
