Our culture is centered around service, collaboration, and long-term success. We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and results-driven Loan Officer Recruiter to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, making outbound calls, identifying talent, and helping drive company growth through strategic recruiting efforts. Whether your background is in mortgage recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, business development, inside sales, or agency recruiting, we are looking for someone who is comfortable proactively reaching out to candidates and building a strong pipeline of talent. Position Summary The Loan Officer Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and recruiting talented mortgage professionals, including loan officers, branch managers, and producing teams. This position requires a high level of outbound recruiting activity, including cold calling passive candidates, networking, referral generation, and relationship building. The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident on the phone, persistent, and motivated by building connections and creating opportunities for both candidates and the company. Key Responsibilities Source, attract, and engage qualified candidates through cold calling, referrals, networking, social media, job boards, LinkedIn, and industry events Conduct high-volume outbound recruiting activity to identify passive loan officer candidates Build and maintain a pipeline of loan officers, branch managers, mortgage professionals, and future hiring prospects Conduct phone screens and initial candidate interviews Review resumes and applications to evaluate qualifications and fit Present United Mortgage Lending's compensation plans, products, support, technology, leadership, and company culture to prospective candidates Manage candidates through the full recruiting cycle, from initial outreach through onboarding Maintain accurate recruiting records and applicant tracking systems Meet and exceed weekly recruiting activity, outreach, and hiring goals Relationship Building Build and maintain long‑term relationships with loan officers and mortgage professionals Stay connected with prospects through calls, texts, meetings, networking events, and ongoing follow‑up Develop a referral network within the mortgage industry Understand candidate motivations, goals, challenges, and priorities Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the hiring process Preferred Qualifications Experience in mortgage recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, agency recruiting, business development, inside sales, or customer‑facing recruiting roles Mortgage industry experience is preferred but not required Knowledge of loan origination, mortgage operations, underwriting, processing, or branch management is a plus Familiarity with NMLS licensing and mortgage industry terminology is beneficial Schedule & Location Full‑Time Monday‑Friday In‑Person Why Join United Mortgage Lending?
