Vascular Neurology Opportunity in Miami, Florida

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Vascular Neurologist to join its well‑established program at its Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute (MNI), part of Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care. The team, which includes over two dozen physicians across eight locations, performs over 1,500 surgeries each year, and offers more than 30 clinical research studies, includes experts in a wide range of specialties, including neurosurgery, nonsurgical spine care and pain management, neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, neuro‑oncology, radiation oncology and neurology. MNI is a Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. In 2022, MNI had the greatest number of thrombolytic cases per year for the region, with the lowest door‑to‑needle time among all high‑volume centers. Qualifications Full‑time opportunity. Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and fellowship‑trained in Vascular Neurology. Board certification in Vascular Neurology preferred at time of hire but may be obtained within an allotted eligibility period. MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing. In‑depth knowledge of managing stroke calls, stroke prevention clinic, providing acute inpatient stroke consultation, and collaborating with neurointerventional and ICU teams.
