POS Sales Agent – Sanctuary WoburnSalary: $16 an hour | Hourly Non-Exempt | Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities AvailableHelp Create the Customer Experience at Sanctuary WoburnAt Sanctuary Medicinals, our POS Sales Agents are more than cashiers. They are product guides, customer advocates, problem solvers, and the energy behind the sales floor. As part of the opening team for Sanctuary Saugus, you will help build an exciting, welcoming, and educational retail experience from the ground up.We are looking for outgoing, motivated people who enjoy connecting with customers, learning about cannabis, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. Whether helping a first-time customer feel comfortable or guiding a returning customer toward their next favorite product, you will play a huge role in shaping the customer experience every day.If you enjoy talking with people, staying busy, learning new products, and working with a strong team, this is the role for you. Duties & Responsibilities· Create a welcoming and positive experience for every customer· Build strong customer relationships through education, communication, and product knowledge· Assist customers and patients with selecting products that best fit their needs and preferences· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cannabis strains, cannabinoids, terpenes, consumption methods, and product categories· Stay informed on cannabis industry trends, products, and events· Explain the differences between flower, vapes, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, pre-rolls, and other product types· Accurately complete all POS transactions following Sanctuary SOPs and Massachusetts regulations· Ensure all cash handling and transaction procedures are completed correctly· Maintain organized and accurate customer interaction records· Keep workstations clean, organized, and sanitized throughout the shift· Support teammates during busy periods and help maintain smooth floor operations· Help create a fun, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment· Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary What Makes Someone Great in This Role· Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality· Passion for cannabis education and customer experience· Strong communication and listening skills· Ability to multitask while staying organized· Positive attitude and strong work ethic· Comfortable working in fast-paced retail environments· Team-oriented mindset with willingness to jump in and help· Ability to stay calm and professional during busy periods Required Skills & Abilities· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Ability to resolve problems professionally and efficiently· Performs well under pressure in high-volume environments· Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays· Strong multitasking and organizational skills· Basic computer and POS system knowledge· Attention to detail and accuracy with transactions Education & ExperienceMust be 21 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredMust pass all required background checksMinimum one year of hospitality, retail, or cannabis experience preferredPrevious dispensary or cannabis industry experience is a plusBasic computer and Microsoft Office skills required Physical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working in a busy retail environment throughout the shift Additional Employment InformationThis position may require nights, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
