Quality InspectorThe Quality Inspector works under minimal supervision to perform comprehensive inspections of machined and structural sheet metal parts throughout the production process. This role ensures that all products meet stringent quality standards by conducting first article, in-process, final, and receiving inspections, accurately documenting results, and supporting continuous improvement within a precision manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform first article, in-process, and final inspections of machined and structural sheet metal parts using conventional inspection tools, engineering drawings, process specifications, mylars, contour templates, and form blocks.Conduct receiving inspection of purchased materials to verify conformance to purchase order requirements and applicable specifications.Accurately document nonconforming material and prepare nonconformance material reports (NCMR) for Material Review Board (MRB) review and disposition.Complete and maintain all required documentation, including work orders, job travelers, inspection reports, and related records, in a clear and legible manner.Log completed jobs in the ERP system, complete associated paperwork such as blue tags and job travelers, and move product to the next stage of processing.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
