Step into a rewarding opportunity delivering in-person speech and language services within a supportive elementary school setting. This contract role invites a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentials to provide high-impact interventions to a diverse group of students near White Plains, NY. From now through June 25th, your expertise will help empower young learners—particularly those with a range of communication needs, including non-verbal students.
You’ll work onsite three days per week, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Each day, you’ll conduct ten individual or small group sessions, each lasting 30 minutes, totaling approximately 16.5 hours per week.
Ideal Background and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active CCC-SLP certification
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Proven experience supporting elementary-aged students, including those who are non-verbal
- Ability to manage a structured daily schedule of up to 10 sessions per day
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred, as it enhances communication with students and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students in person
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Maintain session documentation and report student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
