At Winthrop Street Dentistry, the Patient Coordinator is more than a front desk role — you are the first impression and a key part of creating a calm, welcoming experience that helps patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk in. Candidates who are not fluent in Spanish and English will not be considered at this time.Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday 7:45 am - 5 pm (no weekends or late nights!)ResponsibilitiesCreate a welcoming, high-energy environment by greeting patients and setting the tone for an exceptional visitKeep the day running seamlessly by managing the schedule, minimizing wait times, and proactively solving issues as they ariseServe as the connection point between patients and the clinical team, ensuring smooth handoffs and clear communicationSupport patients through their visit — from check-in to check-out — including scheduling next appointments and collecting paymentsPresent treatment plans, explain insurance coverage, and discuss financial options with confidence and accuracyStay ahead of the schedule by confirming appointments, verifying insurance, and following up on missed or late arrivalsMaintain accurate patient records and ensure all processes align with HIPAA standardsContribute to a clean, organized, and professional front office environmentSupport the team with onboarding, training, and day-to-day office operationsPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by managementThis is an opportunity to step into a well-run, team-oriented practice where your role is essential to both the patient experience and the success of the office.Full-time BenefitsWe recognize that taking care of our team is just as important as taking care of our patients.
