Our team of experienced military, technical, and operations research analysts is skilled in evaluating military problems, identifying the driving factors, devising innovative approaches, collecting applicable data, developing necessary software tools, and performing thorough and timely assessments to inform technology and acquisition governance decisions to ensure U.S. military forces retain military superiority in the future.We have an immediate need for an Action Officer to provide onsite support out of Arlington, VA.ResponsibilitiesThe Action Officer will provide direct support to the DARPA Biological Technolgies Office Deputy Director. Working with the Front Office staff, Principal Advisors, Briefing Coordinators, and Executive Assistants, the Action Officer will receive, frame, assign, track, escalate, and close action items and taskers. Apply an understanding of how taskers move through the Pentagon, the Services, Joint Staff, OSW, and interagency channels to drive actions and taskers toward resolution. The Action Officer's daily support will allow the Deputy Director to operate at full speed with confidence that every commitment, however it arrived, is being owned, tracked, and driven to resolution.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree8+ years of experiencePrior DoD Action Officer experienceActive Secret clearanceAbility to work fully onsite in Arlington, VADesired:Active TS/SCI clearancePay Range InformationAt SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain top talent.
