National Industrial Controls Maintenance Technologist

$38 - $48 per hour

Be the on-site authority for electrical and multi-craft maintenance across varied facilities

Pay & Support

$38–$48/hour , depending on experience
100% employer-paid medical (single & family) starting Day 1

Core Work You’ll Lead

Diagnose and repair industrial electrical systems: 24V–480V , 3-phase, motors, drives, PLCs
Execute preventive maintenance programs and fast break/fix responses
Read and apply electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic
Troubleshoot PLCs— Allen-Bradley and Siemens preferred
Resolve problems without schematics by applying first-principles thinking
Support and optimize conveyors, motors, and automation assets
Install, test, and upgrade electrical components and control systems
Document thoroughly and communicate clearly with site leadership
Train and uplift less experienced technicians
Model an uncompromising safety culture

Who Thrives Here

10+ years in industrial electrical or multi-craft maintenance
Expert troubleshooter with PLCs, drives, motors, and controls
Self-directed and adaptable across unique customer sites
Professional communicator with a customer-first approach
Open to traveling 75%+ with schedule flexibility

Preferred Background

Master Electrician, Journeyman, or proven equivalent
Instrumentation & controls experience
Advanced automation troubleshooting
Comfort with Microsoft Excel / Google Suite

Physical Demands & Environment

Lift up to 50 lbs; perform in physically demanding spaces
Operate at heights, in tight areas, and shifting conditions
Stand, walk, climb, bend, and maneuver throughout sites
Safely work on industrial surfaces with appropriate PPE
