Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:6–7, covering populations including post-surgical, orthopedic, pneumonia, dialysis, palliative care, hospice, and end-of-life patients
• Monitor and manage patients on remote telemetry; telemetry is monitored remotely by monitor technicians and nurses are not required to read strips
• Administer drips including Heparin and morphine sulfate for comfort measures; no cardiac drips required
• Support patients on Bipap, CPAP, and High Flow oxygen, all managed in coordination with Respiratory Therapy
• Safely care for both standard and isolation-designated patients, including those requiring infection control precautions, and must be comfortable with simultaneous assignments across designated patient areas
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling (Saturday/Sunday) and two required Fridays per schedule, integrated into the facility holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license; any history of professional license hits must be disclosed at time of submission
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — the only required certification for this role
• Comfort working in a Medical Surgical environment with varied and complex patient populations including palliative, hospice, and isolation patients
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet weekend and Friday scheduling requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with post-surgical or orthopedic patient populations
• Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring workflows
• Experience with dialysis, chemotherapy-adjacent care, or end-of-life/palliative patient populations
