Strategic Sourcing Leader - NPI

GE HealthCare seeks a Strategic Sourcing Leader to develop and execute sourcing strategies for new medical device products from conception through market launch. The role involves supplier selection, contract negotiation, risk management, and cost optimization while collaborating across engineering, quality, and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with product roadmaps and business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for critical components while conducting risk assessments
- Negotiate supplier contracts on pricing, terms, and conditions to support timelines and cost targets
- Lead early supplier involvement programs to optimize manufacturability and reduce costs
- Track KPIs for sourcing activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years strategic sourcing or procurement experience in regulated industries, preferably medical devices
- Demonstrated success identifying, negotiating, and managing suppliers for complex NPI projects
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and e-sourcing tools
- Strong negotiation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 10-20% as required
