The Role: The Keyholder is an important member of the Cara Cara Palm Beach retail team, responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience, driving sales, supporting daily store operations, and acting as a leader on the sales floor. Keyholders are entrusted with opening and closing the store and supporting the Store Manager in maintaining Cara Cara's standards of service, presentation, and operational excellence.

Client Experience & Sales

• Provide a warm, elevated, and personalized shopping experience that reflects the Cara Cara brand.

• Build meaningful relationships with clients through thoughtful styling, product knowledge, and exceptional service.
\n
• Meet and contribute toward individual and store sales goals.
\n
• Develop and maintain a personal client book and actively participate in clienteling and outreach.
\n
• Follow up with clients regarding new arrivals, special pieces, events, and relevant store updates.
\n
• Support appointment selling, VIP clients, special events, and in-store activations.
\n
• Maintain strong knowledge of current collections, product details, fit, fabrication, and styling.
\n

Keyholder & Leadership Responsibilities

• Open and close the store independently according to company procedures.
\n
• Maintain a professional, positive, and solution-oriented presence on the sales floor.
\n
• Support daily sales goals and help keep the team engaged and focused throughout the day.
\n
• Assist with resolving client concerns and escalate matters to the Store Manager when appropriate.
\n
• Help ensure company policies, procedures, and brand standards are consistently followed.
\n
• Communicate important store, client, inventory, and operational updates to the Store Manager.
\n

Store Operations

\n
• Accurately process transactions, returns, exchanges, discounts, and other transactions through Shopify POS.
\n
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, processing, organizing, and replenishing merchandise.
\n
• Support inventory accuracy through proper merchandise handling, stock organization, transfers, and inventory procedures.
\n
• Maintain an organized and efficient stockroom.
\n
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
\n
• Support shipping, client pickups, and other store fulfillment needs.
\n
• Help maintain store supplies and communicate replenishment needs to the Store Manager.
\n

Visual & Brand Standards

\n
• Maintain an elevated, organized, and welcoming sales floor throughout the day.
\n
• Assist with merchandising, product placement, replenishment, and maintaining visual standards.
\n
• Ensure merchandise is properly steamed, hung, folded, sized, and presented.
\n
• Maintain fitting rooms, cash wrap, stockroom, and client-facing areas to Cara Cara standards.
\n
• Help ensure the store is prepared for VIP appointments, events, activations, and high-traffic periods.
\n

Teamwork & Communication

• Work collaboratively with the Store Manager and fellow team members to create a supportive and high-performing store environment.
\n
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, flexibility, and strong communication.
\n
• Participate in store meetings, training, product education, and ongoing development.
\n
• Help create a positive team culture centered around hospitality, accountability, and exceptional service.
\n
• Support additional store responsibilities and business needs as assigned by the Store Manager.
\n

Overall Expectations

The Keyholder represents Cara Cara with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm and takes ownership of both the client experience and the overall success of the store. This position requires someone who is dependable, sales-driven, highly organized, comfortable taking initiative, and able to independently oversee the store when management is not present.

Approved Employment Terms

Compensation and Commission Structure: $23-$26/hr based on experience. 3% shared monthly commission pool, allocated based on hours worked.
