Housekeeping AssistantProvides support to the housekeeping department by delivering linens, toiletries, and other supplies as needed and replenishes supplies in public areas. Assists with preparing rooms for cleaning upon guest departures and with deep cleaning projects. Performs all tasks and functions related to laundry and linen care. Maintains appropriately stocked linen and storage rooms. Meets all cleanliness and time requirement standards established for cleaning various areas of the hotel. Provides exceptional guest service and responds promptly to guest inquiries and concerns. Performs basic maintenance skills including plunging toilets, changing light bulbs, and changing batteries. Handles chemicals and cleaning supplies with care and in accordance with standards. Operates commercial laundry and cleaning equipment. Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency. Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.Part-time position with mandatory weekend availability. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism. Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner.
