DEMAND MANAGER

Demand Manager As the Demand Manager, you will own the integrated demand planning process to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and supply chain capabilities, minimizing costs and risks. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams and strategic suppliers will be essential to drive operational excellence and enhance overall supply chain performance. This is an individual contributor role focused on developing and enhancing the demand planning process within the organization. The main stakeholders are Sales, Marketing, and Program Management. The role requires developing an in‑depth understanding of sales strategies, product offerings, and upcoming projects. Responsibilities include managing phase‑in and phase‑out products, overseeing process flows, and coordinating communication with supply planners. Demand Forecasting & Strategic Planning Manage the generation of demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, input from sales, product development, and other relevant stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and reliability of forecasts to support production planning and inventory management decisions. Inventory Optimization Develop inventory replenishment strategies, safety stock policies, and order parameters to balance inventory levels with demand variability and minimize costs while maintaining service level commitments. Implement inventory optimization techniques and system enhancements to improve inventory turns and reduce SLOBs. Process Optimization In collaboration with SEB Professional Global, factories, key suppliers, and other departments of SEB Professional North America continuously evaluate and enhance demand processes, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and agility. Implement best practices and leverage technology solutions to streamline workflows and automate routine tasks. Risk Management Identify potential risks and opportunities related to demand changes, supply chain disruptions, or priority shifts. Develop contingency plans and scenario analyses to mitigate risks, minimize costs, and capitalize on opportunities proactively. S&OP process -Stakeholder Communication Lead the local S&OP process to communicate demand and supply plans, assumptions, and insights effectively to internal stakeholders, including executives, to support strategic decision‑making processes and drive alignment across the organization. Collaborate with factories and strategic suppliers to share demand forecasts and coordinate supply chain activities. What You'll Need to Succeed Experience: Proven experience in demand planning (typically 710 years), including time in a leadership or managerial capacity, preferably in a fast‑paced manufacturing, spare parts/equipment environment with international presence in a multisite network. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification: Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) is a plus. SAP and/or Oracle experience or similar ERP systems is a must. Excel and PowerPoint advanced.
