Job Summary Become a Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT) with BAYADA Behavioral Health. You will join our Oahu Behavioral Health team, providing classroom-based supports to students with Autism and other Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDDs). Training Start as a Behavior Technician Trainee and complete the BAYADA RBT Academy—a comprehensive program that includes web‑based courses, hands‑on training, structured observation, and study guides. You will prepare to pass the RBT exam and earn certification. Responsibilities Work directly with students in the classroom, following established service plans. Establish and maintain relationships with clients and school teams, respecting clients’ values and families’ perspectives. Implement behavior therapy techniques and collaborate with teachers to support students’ progress. Document interventions and track progress toward goals. Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plans. Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help students acquire, maintain, and generalize skills. Support students in developing interpersonal skills, maintaining personal relationships, and building independence in school routines. Qualifications Minimum age of 18. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or 48 college credits (Math 100 & English 100), or a High School Diploma/GED with passage of the ParaPro Praxis assessment. No prior experience required.
