Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), School-Based Invo Healthcare, now in partnership with The Stepping Stones Group, is seeking a talented, full-time Registered Behavior Technician to join our school-based services team in Hawaii. Qualifications Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Hold a bachelor's degree is preferred but not required School experience with special needs students and disabilities preferred Responsibilities Utilize assistive technology, electronic Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and data collection systems Implement discrete trial instruction Implement behavior treatment programs as designed by the supervising Behavior Analyst Maintain appropriate records and collect data and complete treatment notes as required Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations Perform other RBT duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification Benefits Healthcare coverage 401K Life insurance PTO Competitive compensation Continuing education Dedicated clinical lead Professional liability coverage Professional development stipend Licensure reimbursement Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must have the ability to move freely throughout school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and therapy spaces. The position frequently involves bending, kneeling, crouching, and assisting students at their physical level (e.g., floor activities or adaptive seating). The employee may be required to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally assist students with mobility or transfers. Vision and hearing abilities must be sufficient to observe student behavior, read printed materials and digital screens, and communicate effectively. The employee must be able to maintain visual and auditory attention to ensure student safety and engagement throughout the school day. Work is typically performed in a school environment with moderate noise levels and frequent movement between classrooms or buildings. The employee may occasionally be exposed to body fluids or communicable diseases while performing job duties and must follow district and company safety protocols.
