Electrical Project Manager

OverviewBlooming Glen Contractors Water & Wastewater Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout. Competitive salary commensurate with experience100% Company-paid Health Benefits401(k) Savings and Investment PlanTuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programsAdditional training programs including on the job, online through H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and moreResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of electrical construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeoutDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controlsCoordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, inspectors, and internal teamsReview drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure scope complianceProcure materials, equipment, and subcontractor servicesOversee change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentationEnsure compliance with OSHA regulations, NEC codes, and company safety policiesLead project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholdersSupport field leadership to resolve technical, schedule, or labor challengesEnsure timely project closeout, including as‑builts, O&M manuals, and final billingQualificationsRequired Skills, Education, and Experience:1+ years of experience managing electrical construction projectsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with commercial, industrial, and/or institutional projects preferredStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and specificationsPreferred Skills, Education, and Experience:1-2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or design.Familiarity with cloud point data and 3D scanning technologies.Knowledge of fabrication processes and the ability to create precise drawing packages.Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precise and accurate engineering designs.Possession of an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification or actively working towards obtaining itA desire to grow professionally, with opportunities to take on increasing responsibilities as you develop your skills.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Ability to stand, walk, and sit as required for project needs.Must be able to lift and move items relevant to job responsibilities.Exposure to outdoor weather conditions on occasion.Moderate noise levels in the work environment.Flexibility to work more than 40 hours per week when project demands require it.The Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc.
