Required Field Of Study Appropriate level of education (e.g., Nursing, Respiratory Care, Radiologic Technology). Must be recognized by relevant accreditation bodies. Other Required Qualifications Relevant clinical experience, strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with regulatory compliance, and commitment to professional development. Required License/Certification Appropriate license or certification for the field (e.g., RN, RRT, ARRT) with current licensure. Preferred Education & Field Of Study Master’s degree may be preferred, depending on the program. Preferred Type Of Experience Experience in clinical education, especially coordinating placements or working with clinical sites. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Knowledge of clinical education processes and familiarity with academic, institutional, and regulatory standards. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, clinical partners, faculty, and preceptors. Detail‑oriented with accurate record‑keeping. Strong organizational and planning skills to coordinate placements and support student progress. Flexibility to handle schedule changes and unexpected issues. Ability to assess student performance and provide feedback with faculty and preceptors. Effective problem‑solving and student support skills. Conflict resolution and interpersonal skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping current with best practices. General Working Conditions The job is primarily in a professional office environment. Standard office equipment is used. Noise is usually quiet to moderate. Physical demands include stationary work, reaching and moving light objects (5–15 lbs) and occasional travel on a flexible schedule. Local travel required on a flexible schedule. Description of Job Function Coordinates student clinical placements, ensuring alignment with academic, professional, and compliance requirements. Partners with clinical sites to match students with appropriate placements and cultivate relationships. Maintains accurate records of clinical sites, student placements, evaluations, and compliance documentation. Ensures students meet all clinical prerequisites (background checks, immunizations, badges) and coordinates compliance records. Develops and adjusts clinical schedules and resolves scheduling conflicts. Monitors student performance and competencies, providing feedback with faculty and preceptors. Supports student progression through rotations, addressing academic or personal challenges. Serves as primary point of contact for clinical issues, resolves concerns.
