Industrial Painter

Overview Thomas Sign & Awning in Clearwater, Florida is looking for an Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing or auto painting field. Responsibilities Work in a paint booth using enamel, polyurethane paints/stains Must be able to mix/match colors, as well as mask and tape area to be coated Use spray guns to coat material with paint, enamel, stain and/or polyurethane Must have a good understanding of the safety required for storage of paints/chemicals Well organized with the ability to maintain a clean work area Responsible for preventative maintenance for all paint related equipment and booth Good fabrication skills are a plus Understanding of all equipment related to manufacturing such as power saws, routers, nail guns, hand tools, measuring tools Must be able to prioritize multiple projects/schedules and have strong desire to produce high quality products, on time and in an efficient manner Excellent Communication Skills with the ability to recognize and escalate problems Prefer 3-5 years experience painting metal, acrylic and other surfaces with high quality results. Sign and display industry experience is a plus. Shift 1st and 2nd Shift Qualifications High School or equivalent required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
