The role oversees design, budgeting, scheduling, and construction execution while coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and facility stakeholders to ensure alignment with operational needs. This position monitors project costs, provides regular status updates to Plant & Facilities leadership, and ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The Project Manager also contributes to long‐term facility planning and represents the organization in project meetings.**Essential Job Functions:*** Leads and manages multiple healthcare construction and renovation projects across Altru facilities, assuming full accountability for scope, quality, schedule, and budget for all project, with some projects exceeding $10 million, from concept through occupancy.* Plans, coordinates, and oversees all phases of design and construction, including facility programming, budgeting, cost estimating, consultant selection, contract administration, construction execution, and closeout.* Serves as the primary liaison between consultants, contractors, hospital administrators, Plant & Facilities leadership, and facility user groups to ensure timely communication, issue resolution, and alignment with operational needs.* Coordinates architects, engineers, construction managers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets.* Monitors project costs, reviews and approves invoices, and provides regular construction and budget status reports to the Plant & Facilities Director.* Leads construction risk assessments and ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements, including Joint Commission, Medicare/Medicaid, OSHA, and other governing authorities.* Supports strategic facility planning, future development, and major regional renovations by providing consultative expertise and representing the organization at project meetings, including evenings or nights as required.* Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.### Certification:* Driver's License with Acceptable Driving Record | Driver's License - Current State Licensed | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources**Education:**• Required: Associates - Related Field### ### **Work Experience:**• Required: A minimum of 3 years Related Experience **Language Requirements:**This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members. # **Physical Demands :**• Sit: Frequently (34-66%)### ### • Stand: Occasionally (5-33%)### ### • Walk: Occasionally (5-33%)### ### • Stoop/Bend: Occasionally (5-33%)### ### • Reach: Frequently (34-66%)### ### • Crawl: Rarely (1-4%)### ### • Squat/Crouch/Kneel: Occasionally (5-33%)### ### • Twist: Occasionally (5-33%)### ### • Handle/Finger/Feel: Continuously (67-100%)### ### • See: Continuously (67-100%)### ### • Hear: Continuously (67-100%)**Weight Demands:**• Lift -Floor to Waist Level: Sedentary (<10 pounds)### ### • Carry: Sedentary (<10 pounds)### ### • Push/Pull: Sedentary (<10 pounds)### ### • Slide/Transfer: Not Applicable**Working Conditions:**• Indoor: Continuously (67-100%)### ### • Outdoor: Rarely (1-4%)### ### • Extreme Temperature: Not Applicable**Driving Requirement Definitions:*** **Professional Drivers:** Persons who drive as their main responsibility OR transport passengers or hazardous materials.* **Frequent Drivers:** Persons whose main responsibility is not driving, but drive daily or almost daily.* **Occasional Drivers**: Persons who drive from once per month to as frequently as once per week.* **Infrequent Drivers:** Persons who are generally not expected to drive.**Driving Requirement for this position:**Occasional Driver# Reference ID: R7895**Making a real difference.
