Speech Language Pathologist | Ypsilanti, MI | Full Time

Position Details

August 31, 2026 – June 4, 2027
Full-Time | 37.5 hours per week
Part-time candidates may be considered
Caseload: K–12
Onsite

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, and communication services to K–12 students.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals.
• Provide individual and/or group therapy as appropriate.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and other professionals to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate speech and language goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and required student records.
• Consult with school staff regarding strategies to support students' communication needs in the classroom.
• Follow district policies, procedures, and applicable state and professional requirements.
• Provide services in an onsite school environment across the assigned K–12 caseload.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Michigan SLP licensure is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous school-based experience is preferred.
• Experience working with K–12 students is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Must be comfortable working onsite.
